No matter what you call it, we all need it.
And most of us have a love-hate relationship with money.
I picked the classic piggy bank as the symbol for this month's intention because it reminds me of being a kid, and how simplistic my relationship with money was back then.
I received an allowance for doing household chores from the time I was really little. In fact, I bought my first record (I Love Rock-n-Roll by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts) when I was in first grade. I understood the basic concepts of earning and spending and saving and budgeting.
We may learn these lessons, and know the basics of financial wellness but that doesn't mean we're practicing them. Just like we know the basics of fitness and nutrition...right?!?
Our expert this month is Michele Bjorkgren from Compass Financial Services. She's smart, funny, and down to earth and will not make us feel stupid for asking ANY questions about money and financial planning.
